The Art Fair will be Saturday, June 5 from 11 AM to 5 PM with a rain date of Sunday June 6.
60 artists are registered for Saturday's (June 5th) Northside Art Sale in Hoffner Park from 11am - 5pm.
This is NOT your parent's Summer Art Sale! The Northside Summer Art sale will exhibit really awesome artists (local artist), really low cost to you (it is free) and really fun activities for the kids!
Activities include:
- 11am - 1pm, free pony rides on a really nice pony named Goldie.
- 1 - 2pm, entertainment by the Queen City Zapatistas! a wild and wacky marching band!
- 2 - 4pm, NIA dancing interactive for the family - a body in action lesson!
Bring your friends and family to the young, hip, wacky, crafty fine art sale. You will find a unique gift that is affordable and made by local artists just in time for the graduation, wedding and birthday season!
Northside will be hopping that day with the Citirama 2010: Rockford Woods home show, the Taste of Northside at Rockford Woods and Saturday classes at HAPPEN.
Two parking lots are available for a nominal fee, one is behind Slims at Blue Rock Rd. and Hamilton Avenue and the other at Hamilton and Lingo which is across from Melt.
The Northside Summer Art Sale is sponsored by the Northside Business Association, the Cincinnati Park Board Commisioners and The Artist Group. The Summer Art Sale began in 2003 and is a twin of the Northside Winter Art Sale usually held in December. The Artist Group is a group of Northside Artists interested in promoting Northside through the arts.
